INOV Contacto International Internships offers your company young graduates up to the age of 29 who are looking for their first job and willing to work abroad. The INOV Contacto team handles the selection and brokers contacts with these highly qualified graduates. In addition, has set up an online networking platform to allow past and current participants to keep in touch and share knowledge as well as to encourage partnerships between companies. INOV Contacto was first introduced in 1997, has accomplished more than 6086 internships among over 1385 companies all over the world.
This Program is managed by AICEP Portugal Global, a government agency, focused in encouraging the best foreign companies to invest in Portugal and contribute to the success of Portuguese companies abroad in their internationalization processes or export activities.
If your organization wants to welcome an INOV Contacto intern it must ensure the following requirements:
detailing tasks for all stages of the internship.
to assure effective monitoring and guarantee compliance with the internship Plan and with all the formalities inherent to it.
with all the necessary equipment namely a computer, acess to an internet service and e-mail.
to address any additional or unpredictable situation.
Host entities are selected based on: quality of the internship plan, flexibility capacity, and degree of commitment.
Coherence and relevance of the internship plan for the objectives of the INOV Contacto program and contribution to the enhancement of the intern's skills.
Capability to operate via remote work.
Previous collaboration with AICEP Portugal Global and the INOV Contacto program and availability to hire the intern at the end of the internship.
Through an effective way of processing offers we try to guarantee that applicants will get the best possible result available to them and the company. The INOV Contacto will provide the identification of the best profile of the candidate suitable for the internship plan that includes a pre-curricular validation by the host entity.
CAMPUS - Intensive training course in International Practice, which marks the beginning of the internship and where the intern gets to know the host entity and the country of destination
INTERNSHIP - Training in a real work environment, from 6 to 9 months long, which takes place in Portugal and abroad and where the trainee is integrated into the team and project of the host entity
CLOSING SESSION - Event where internship experiences are shared, in which certificates and final evaluations are delivered
AICEP pays directly to the interns the following items
A monthly internship grant throughout the entire internship period;
A monthly accommodation allowance only during the internship period abroad (based on the ONU cost of living index);
A meal allowance in Portugal and abroad;
A workman’s compensation insurance in Portugal and abroad;
A worldwide personal accident insurance during the internship period abroad;
A health insurance during the internship period abroad;
Round trip to the internship location by plane and/or other public transportation in economic class.
